Description

Job Title: Operations Manager - Work Based Learning

Location: Your team of Tutors will be based in the north of England and travel to their locations will be expected. Please be mindful of this when applying for the role.

The role is to support Tutors to deliver outstanding levels of operational excellence, quality, compliance and teaching & learning, from induction to End-Point Assessment (EPA).

Ensuring that all teaching & learning based activities meet the needs of the student and employer, as well as external and internal quality requirements.

With over twenty years' experience in the education sector, we are an Ofsted Grade 2 training provider that specialises in vocational courses, short courses and e-learning. We pride ourselves on working with recognisable brands - including the NHS, BMI, GSK and the John Lewis Partnership. We deliver a range of training and qualifications to various industries across the UK.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing a team of work based / Apprenticeship Tutor Assessors
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Experienced within Apprenticeships
  • Experience within Healthcare/Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential
  • Assessing Qualification (A1/PTLLS/TAQA/CAVA) is essential
  • V1/EPA qualification desirable
  • UK Driving Licence and access to a car with business cover

  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Previous Apprenticeship delivery experience is desirable
  • Confident in the delivery of functional skills maths and English up to L2
  • UK Driving Licence and access to a car
