Qube Learning have an exciting opportunity  for an enthusiastic person to join our team as a Student Support Coach.

As one of our Student Support Coaches you will deliver excellence in learning across the business ultimately supporting our students to timely achievement. This is achieved through innovative approaches that set us aside from our competitors and lead to continuous improvement.

The role will be home based with regional travel

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver one to one, group and classroom activities as required for students’ development
  • Monitor and drive progressive learning and assessment visits ensuring all are completed according to learning plans and delivery models for students
  • Provide pastoral support to students using the Learning Support Signposting Tool, where appropriate
  • Ensure effective diary management so that students receive monthly interventions and
    content is well planned, inspiring students whilst stretching and challenging them to reach their full potential
  • To work with the Skills Tutor to support the student to achieve their highest potential in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance measures are adhered to and in line with the current version of the ESFA funding rules

What we are looking for:

  • Teaching qualification such as PGCE/PTLLS
  • Qualifications up to Level 2 in English & Maths
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to establish positive and respectful relationships with students
  • A passion to support students and drive quality
  • Confident in the delivery of Functional Skills maths and English up to L2
  • UK Driving Licence and access to a car
